We all are pretty good at staying inspired and try to be good motivators, but sometimes we need a little help. My motivational talks are designed to supplement every company's own mission and vision of their future. The important point we know is that all of that starts with our dedicated employees.
Let me speak to your group for about 30 minutes and everyone is sure to take some motivation with them from the meeting. Comparing our work days to a football career is funny, enlightening and very productive. My talks can be customized to fit any business objective or challenge, but the basic format includes three sections of discussion...
1) Get Beyond the Uniform
Combining the name on the front of the uniform with the name on the back builds championship efforts. Years of history and tradition come with the name on the front and the same family tradition and values come with the name on the back. Each of us in uniquely capable of making a difference each day and combining these values make each person in the audience know they are important.
2) Get Beyond the Game Plan
Most Business Plans are like Game Plans and they are very general. This section gets us down to each play in the game or in the day. Every player has a different role on every play and when we all do our own jobs well, the game plan and business plan goals are met. This section talks about teamwork and how we all need to communicate what we need to do our jobs better.
3) Get Beyond the Job
It is hard to stay motivated each day for a JOB. We all state that one main reason we have our jobs is to support our families. This section focuses on how we bring our family and our friends to work each day in our hearts to meet our customers.
Each section contains some funny stories about sports that the whole audience can relate to and compares those stories with real work examples that relate to the point. There are some things from sports that don't relate to business, but there are many more that do. I have found that presenting the business challenges with a sports reference is very enjoyable for the entire audience. They will all look inside their own performance and probably come up with their own motivational topics.
This talk fits in just about every meeting and in any time slot. I've given it after breakfast to start the day off...I've shared the message right after lunch when we need to get back in the mood for the afternoon session...I've closed many meetings with this talk to set the tone for our next day of work.
If you are interested in a Motivational Talk, explain in the comments section in the questionnaire on our CONTACT US tab and fill out the rest of the profile. I look forward to working with you, your company and your most valuable assets...your teammates.
